Meet the Intern: Sean Lohman

Monday, Jul. 3rd 2017

PKC Construction is proud to introduce our new intern, Sean Lohman, who is majoring in Construction Management with an emphasis in safety, at Pittsburg State University.

PKC: What are your responsibilities?
Sean: As an Assistant Estimator, I receive all of the bid proposals and put projects out on iSqFt. I respond to emails when subcontractors have questions about one of our projects and call subcontractors to see if they will be bidding projects.

PKC: How will you be able to apply what you’re learning at PKC to your career?
Sean: One of the biggest things I will take away from this internship is being able to communicate well with my estimating team. It’s extremely important to be on the same page with all the estimators. I have also learned how important it is to be able to talk to subcontractors on the phone.

PKC: Do you have any hobbies?
Sean: I fish, hunt, hike, and enjoy going to the lake and being outdoors. Also, I play golf and tennis.

PKC: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Sean: Ireland

PKC: What’s the best movie you’ve seen all year?
Sean: Wonder Woman

PKC: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Sean: I would love to be able to fly.

PKC: What’s one interesting thing most people don’t know about you?
Sean: I can play the guitar.

We’re happy to have Sean on our team and wish him the best during his upcoming senior year.
